Recently, the song "Continuing the story of peace" has become a phenomenon, appearing in many art programs on major holidays, being used by a large number of online users as background music for short clips.

As of May 6, the song by musician Nguyen Van Chung has reached over 4 billion views on platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

Especially, the performance of Vo Ha Tram - Dong Hung at the celebration of April 30 in Ho Chi Minh City has also created a sensation, currently ranking 2nd in the popular music ranking on YouTube Vietnam.

Many viewers recognized that before singing "Continuing the story of peace" at the grand ceremony, Vo Ha Tram had performed this song in the art program "Ba Ria - Vung Tau: Marks 2024" on January 28.

The video of this performance by the female singer also garnered attention on social media, attracting 5.3 million views and thousands of comments. Netizens praised Vo Ha Tram for her powerful voice, precise delivery of lyrics, and emotional performance.

The arrangement in the program back in January in Ba Ria - Vung Tau also bears similarities to the arrangement at the April 30 ceremony: gentle, poignant yet full of grandeur, conveying the spirit and heroic message of the song to the listeners.

On May 5, singer Vo Ha Tram also posted a behind-the-scenes video on VTV, sharing her emotions about the performance at the celebration of 50 years of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification Day.

"The 'national music night' event has passed, but the lingering emotions remain. The feelings of pride and joy in my heart are still intact," Vo Ha Tram expressed.

Vo Ha Tram revealed that standing on stage at the grand ceremony and singing a song about peace made her extremely moved and proud.

"I was entrusted with a very famous song at the present time, 'Continuing the story of peace' by musician Nguyen Van Chung, performed by my friend singer Nguyen Duyen Quynh. In a space that once bore historical imprints, surrounded by Vietnamese people holding the Vietnamese flag, I felt the beauty of peace.

What I like most about this song is that it is written for a very wide vocal range. When singing the high notes, I sing with all my heart, loving music. The lyrics of the song are beautiful and meaningful, powerful enough to touch everyone's hearts," the singer shared.

The singer in her 80s added that she first learned about the song "Continuing the story of peace" about a year before singer Duyen Quynh introduced it to the public. When performing the song, she meticulously practiced, analyzed it professionally, ensuring that each word and each phrase conveyed "like painting a picture of peace for the audience."

Recently, social media has been debating and comparing Vo Ha Tram's performance with Duyen Quynh - the singer who originally sang "Continuing the story of peace."

A reporter from Dan Tri contacted Duyen Quynh, but she cleverly declined to comment. Instead, she expressed her joy that the song has spread to a wide audience.

"I am happy that 'Continuing the story of peace' has touched the hearts of many people. I thank musician Nguyen Van Chung for trusting me to sing the song. I am also grateful to remix artist Duc Tu and everyone who contributed to the song's wide spread," she said.

Notably, Duyen Quynh did not shy away from mentioning her colleagues: "I want to thank singer Vo Ha Tram and singer Dong Hung for their emotional performance at the grand ceremony. Thanks to the love of the audience, the song has its own life like this."
