Bảo MyOn May 10, the Criminal Investigation Agency of Krông Nô District Police (Đắk Nông) issued a decision to initiate a case, initiate the suspect, and order temporary detention for Lê Công Toàn (29 years old, residing in Tân Thành ward, Buôn Ma Thuột city, Đắk Lắk) for the offense of Extortion of property.
According to initial investigation, in order to have money for expenses, Toàn created multiple social media accounts and downloaded many sensitive photos and clips of young beautiful girls to his device. Toàn used these accounts with photos of the girls as representatives to befriend many other men.

Through conversations, Toàn enticed men to send him self-recorded "hot" photos and clips. After obtaining these images, Toàn would use them to blackmail the victims for money.
Using this method, on March 15, Toàn used a Facebook account named "Nhung Nhung" to send a friend request to the Facebook account of a man named H. (22 years old, residing in Krông Nô district). When H. accepted, they exchanged messages and Toàn suggested that they both send each other "hot" photos, to which H. agreed.
On April 1, Toàn used nude photos of H. to demand that the victim send him 1.5 million VND, threatening to distribute the pornographic images and videos if he did not comply.
Fearing the impact on himself, by April 22, H. had transferred 2.4 million VND to Toàn's bank account.
Upon the investigation and arrest of Toàn, authorities seized various related exhibits.
The Krông Nô District Police are continuing to investigate and expand the case. They are also requesting anyone who has been a victim of Toàn to contact the police for assistance in resolving the situation.
