"Hanoi is still experiencing heavy rain and extreme weather conditions, so the OC is requesting to reschedule to a better time. Currently, we cannot determine a specific time due to the forecast of continuous rain in the coming days.
We hope for the understanding and support of the audience for the OC in this event. We will soon announce the new show date and reserve tickets for those who have reserved in advance," an OC representative announced.
Speaking to Dân trí reporters, an OC representative also revealed that the investment in 3D Mapping technology for the concert was quite expensive, and they have not yet calculated the losses from canceling the show.
Mr. Chu Anh Hùng - Deputy Director of the Hanoi Opera House - also confirmed that Hương Tràm's concert was canceled due to heavy rain. "The team is currently meeting to make a final decision on choosing a replacement performance and informing the ticket holders. It is likely that we will have to move the venue from the outdoor hall to the Hanoi Opera House for a more convenient organization," Mr. Chu Anh Hùng said.
On his personal page, singer Đinh Mạnh Ninh also announced: "The heavy rain shows no signs of stopping, and there are many electrical devices on stage that pose a danger. Therefore, continuing the program is too risky and does not guarantee the safety of all participating audience members. Postponing the show is a difficult decision, and the OC will soon send the audience the plan as soon as possible."
Hương Tràm also expressed regret that the concert could not take place as planned. "Flows in you - Em gái mưa" is the concert marking her return after 4 years of studying abroad in the United States. The singer and her team and band have been preparing for the show for many months. According to the original plan, Hương Tràm was to perform many English songs that she had not sung before. Some familiar songs were also given a fresh twist by the singer.
