According to Box Office Vietnam, "Lat mat 7: Mot dieu uoc" officially reached 460.9 billion VND after 39 days in theaters.

"Lat mat 7" was released at the end of April, continuously creating a frenzy and surpassing various revenue milestones. The film directed by Ly Hai set a record of 102,000 pre-sold tickets, earning 100 billion VND in over 3 days, surpassing 3 million viewers in 10 days.
Together with "Mai" starring Tran Thanh, "Lat mat 7" is a rare successful Vietnamese film in the first half of this year amidst the majority of films being released facing losses. Most recently, "Cai gia cua hanh phuc" (starring Thai Hoa) produced by Xuan Lan left theaters with a revenue of 26.3 billion VND, despite having an investment budget of 37 billion VND.
After leading the box office for 4 consecutive weeks, "Lat mat 7" has started to lose its momentum in the past 2 weeks, relinquishing the daily top spot in revenue to the animated film "Doraemon and the Earth Symphony."
This weekend, Ly Hai's film faces competition from the movie "Garfield: The Fat Cat Strikes Back" - a film released on International Children's Day.
