Speaking to Dan Tri reporter, director Tran Trong Khoi said that the final episode of the series Loneliness was completed just 10 days ago. The process of filming while broadcasting faced a lot of pressure, but he and the team are very happy and proud to have a product that has attracted the attention and anticipation of the audience.
"Seeing the support and speculation from the audience about the ending of the series is a joy for content creators like us. Because viewers are very meticulous in following the series and have a lot of emotions invested in the show, which makes them curious and think a lot about the series ending that way.
As for how the series will end: Happy, sad, open-ended, I hope everyone will be excited and patient to wait for the final episode," he expressed.
Responding to the question from the Dan Tri reporter: "Does the team rely on feedback and opinions from the audience in the final plot to develop the series like some projects do?" Director Tran Trong Khoi revealed that the ending of Loneliness has been prepared for a long time and the team is not led astray by the mixed feedback from viewers.
"Of course, I think following the audience's opinions is also a good way to make a series, but we also have our own opinions, artistic views, and humanistic values about the story of the characters we are building.
Therefore, we will try to find the most harmonious and reasonable way. Furthermore, when it is a TV series aired on prime time VTV, it must also have a complete message that is educational, good, and positive for the audience.
So that everyone can find a message, a lesson for themselves through the series," he revealed.
The director also added that with the crime series Loneliness, the team had a well-prepared original story and a meticulously planned narrative with scientific and precise elements.
He expressed surprise at the audience's reaction after each episode aired, with people speculating a lot about the series plot.
"We tried to find a new way to tell the story, more modern, closer to world cinema, and not following the usual path. Therefore, the series had many updated directions and fast-paced execution, presenting various information for viewers to feel.
The main goal is to keep viewers glued to the series and always have something to contemplate, speculate about the plot of the series.
Temporarily, it can be called a success when Loneliness luckily captured the attention, focus, and affection of a large audience," he candidly stated.

In an exchange with Dan Tri reporter, actor Vinh Xuong mentioned that his character Quan "Gia" remains evil to the end.
"The ending of the series is simple - it will be exactly what the audience desires," the actor briefly commented on the series finale.
Actor Ha Viet Dung shared that the lucky thing for him was being someone people cared about, his character Long, and he had the opportunity to collaborate with a seasoned cast of actors he admired in the crime series Loneliness.
"Until now, I still don't know the fate of the character Long, where he will go. It's very suspenseful so everyone has to wait and see.
I think, no matter how the ending is, it cannot please everyone because the team has tried their best, fulfilled their roles and functions," he expressed.
Life is sometimes not perfect, and so is cinema. Of course, everyone hopes for a good outcome, but there is something about feeling uncertain and contemplating internally that is good and meaningful.
A perfect, happy, or complete ending is quickly forgotten," the actor expressed.
