According to the response, in question number 1, during filming at the studio, the screen displayed the question: "How many spelling errors are there in the sentence "The sun shines brightly, illuminating the river, a peaceful and vast evening. Dờ khắc thật rất hợp cho những lời tình tứ, nhưng trong đám người, tôi và Hậu chỉ nghồi lặng, thỉnh thoảng nhìn nhau".

The player's answer was 3 spelling errors. This was a correct answer, with the errors being: Dờ, dờ, nghồi. The player received points for this question.

However, viewers noticed that in the passage, the term "dải sông" was misspelled as "rải sông" but the player did not recognize this mistake and the program also overlooked it.

Addressing this situation, VTV3 stated that it was a graphic error.

"However, during post-production, due to a data input error, the question was displayed incorrectly during the broadcast. This is entirely a mistake from the editing team and does not affect the player's result. We sincerely apologize to our viewers and players for the aforementioned mistake," VTV3 stated.

The broadcaster mentioned that they will also make corrections on digital platforms and in the re-runs of the program, as well as plan to adjust the program content to enhance interest in the Vietnamese language game and provide a better experience for viewers.

According to exclusive sources from Dan Tri newspaper, the advisor of the filming session of "Vua tiếng Việt" had modified the script before filming. This error was a post-production error in visuals and graphics.

"In the question sent to the on-site players, the passage had the term "dải sông" instead of "rải sông" as seen on television. In post-production, the graphic team misspelled the word, leading to the audience's reaction...," the source said.

Prior to this, this error was discovered and posted on his personal Facebook page by Hoàng Tuấn Công.

On November 21, on his personal page, Hoàng Tuấn Công posted an open letter to VTV Director General Nguyễn Thanh Lâm regarding the mistakes and inconsistencies of the "Vua tiếng Việt" program from 2021 until now.

This open letter quickly received a response from Nguyễn Thanh Lâm.

In the comments section below Hoàng Tuấn Công's open letter, Nguyễn Thanh Lâm stated that he "will carefully consider all of the feedback in this open letter as well as in the articles that you have written or participated in."

Lâm also mentioned that he "will meet with responsible units and individuals regarding this program to fundamentally address these mistakes and provide a response to you and to the audience who are concerned."
