This status update has led many audiences to speculate that Vân Dung is hinting at the upcoming Táo quân 2025 program.
Speaking to Dân trí, Vân Dung stated that she has no information about Táo quân 2025 and has not been informed of the schedule for the program. This photo was taken during the Táo quân 2023 program.
"Táo giao thông" Chí Trung also shared that he has not received any information regarding this year's Táo quân program.
In an interview with Dân trí, NSƯT Chí Trung mentioned that Táo quân is for everyone, and fans who love and want to watch the program always look forward to it. This is why Táo quân has been serving the audience for over 20 years.
"Táo quân does not belong to the cast of 'old apples,' 'young apples,' or any director, but Táo quân belongs to the audience. Every year, the program receives both praise and criticism, but fans still love and anticipate it. Táo quân and the audience need each other," he expressed.
Artist Vân Dung also shared that every New Year's Eve, she spends time at her grandparents' house to make offerings, then returns home to gather with her family to watch Táo quân.
She admitted that as an actress in the program, she is always nervous while watching because she is afraid of the audience's reactions. "I don't know how people will react, what comments they will make. I'm very timid because I'm afraid of the audience's reactions," she jokingly said.
Vân Dung has many memories from participating in Táo quân. For her, every time she is called to participate in the program, her heart beats faster. There was a year when she couldn't breathe when she stepped on the stage because she was very anxious.
"First, you have to be original. Second, you have to be better than the previous year. Third, I think about going out on the first day of Tet, whether the audience will accept it or not, so I'm very nervous watching the program," she confessed.
In 2020, Táo quân had to temporarily stop after 16 years of continuous broadcast, causing disappointment for the audience. Instead, VTV aired a comedy program called Làng Vũ Đại thời hội nhập with a new format.
In 2021, Táo quân returned with the familiar version. In 2022, the program was missing NSND Công Lý and NSND Xuân Bắc.
In 2023, Táo quân marked its 20-year journey. The program was staged as a beauty contest, featuring artists who have been associated with it for nearly two decades such as: NSND Quốc Khánh, NSND Công Lý, NSND Xuân Bắc, NSND Tự Long, NSƯT Chí Trung...

Earlier this year, the Táo quân program underwent a cast change when long-time artists like NSND Xuân Bắc, NSND Tự Long, NSƯT Chí Trung, NSƯT Quang Thắng, artist Vân Dung... were not included.
Instead, new faces such as artist Bá Anh as Táo Giao thông, artist Quốc Quân as Táo Kinh tế, artist Tú Oanh as Táo Văn thể, Quân Anh as Táo Xã hội... took over.
