Singer Dan Truong upset, asks for legal intervention when falsely accused of being in a same-sex relationship

On the evening of December 8th, singer Dan Truong spoke out about being the subject of misinformation about his relationship with singer Trung Quang by many channels and social media accounts. The male singer stated that these false information has affected his work and life.

He shared, "In over 30 years of singing, I have become accustomed to rumors and false accusations. I can overcome them because I have the trust and love of the audience. But singer Trung Quang is still very young, with a long and wide future ahead, yet many want to push him into a corner."

According to Dan Truong, under public pressure, singer Trung Quang left his company in February to pursue his own path.

"Why don't people give him (Trung Quang - PV) a new path to build his career? When young, I also faced such situations, so I understand the feeling, losing trust in society, heavy stress, and negative thoughts," the singer born in 1976 shared.

During this time, Dan Truong also addressed his relationship with his ex-wife - businesswoman Thuy Tien. The male singer affirmed that they parted ways peacefully, so regular meetings are normal.

He added, "Although we no longer have any debt, we still have affection for each other. Above all, Dan Truong and Thuy Tien are the parents of baby Thien Tu, so appearing together and supporting each other is what parents should do."

Dan Truong stated that he and his management company are working with lawyers and authorities to take legal action against websites and social media accounts that engage in defamatory and offensive behavior towards him.

Lately, many channels and social media accounts have posted information about Dan Truong having a homosexual relationship with singer Trung Quang. Images of the two of them being intimate are often discussed.

At the time of his divorce from the businesswoman, Dan Truong was also rumored to have a relationship "beyond friendship" with Trung Quang. However, the male singer later denied it.

In February, singer Trung Quang decided to leave Dan Truong's company. The reason was said to be both sides not agreeing on management and development directions.
