Just by scrolling through some social networks like TikTok, YouTube, Facebook... viewers can easily notice that the song "Tái Sinh" by Tùng Dương is currently trending, being shared continuously by the youth.

Interestingly, the attraction of the song does not come from the original melody but from the remix version (creating a new sound version, catchy, recreating the sound of the original song, but with a different melody) released 6 days ago.

Currently, on the YouTube platform, the remix version of "Tái Sinh" has garnered nearly half a million views. At the same time, it ranks 17th in the popular music category on this platform.

On TikTok, the song also ranks 2nd with an increasing number of listeners and shares.

In an interview with Dân trí, Tùng Dương said that "Tái Sinh" was written by Tăng Duy Tân specifically for him with a pure spirit.

This song is part of the album Multiverse - music universe that Tùng Dương has been nurturing for over 2 years, it is the first song that Tùng Dương didn't cover (re-sing) someone else's song and became famous very quickly.

Tùng Dương once said to Tăng Duy Tân, "I'm old now, not young anymore, write a young but profound song for me." The singer thought it was a difficult task for his younger brother.

However, when he received the song "Tái Sinh," Tùng Dương really liked and fell in love with it from the first melodies.

He commented on his younger brother: "Tăng Duy Tân is very good at listening to the market, he said: "Uncle, just trust me, I will... revive you." The song seems to have something big but sounds very pleasant and not too intense."

After struggles and difficulties, we revive, return in glory. No one can help us revive but ourselves. The spirit of the song can be applied to life, to people's love...".

The 80's singer added that no song of his has been "demanded" for a remix like "Tái Sinh." He agrees to let everyone create a new version of the music to spread the song.

"Regarding Tùng Dương's music, feel free to cover it, the more people sing, the more value the song will have. Recently, singer Phương Thanh messaged me asking to sing "Tái Sinh."

Phương Thanh said, "This song suits me very well, I want to sing it to revive myself because I find it vibrant, very good." When colleagues want to cover and praise the song, I am ready to let them sing it to give a fresh touch to the piece," Tùng Dương confided.

The male singer shared that when he first received the song, he only thought it would be a beautiful memory for the two of them. He was quite surprised that the song became popular in a short time.

"Tăng Duy Tân is indeed a Hit maker (a songwriter with many famous songs loved by a large audience). Tùng Dương has sung songs by others a lot, invited many outside artists to his shows, but recently, his younger cousin Tăng Duy Tân wrote a song specifically for me.

And recently, Tân was also a guest in my live concert Người đàn ông hát," Tùng Dương shared.

The 80's singer said he also wants to rejuvenate to receive new energy and positivity. "Tái Sinh" is a fortunate song for him to have new youthful music projects, getting closer to a younger audience.

"If I don't change my music mindset, I will be stuck in one place. The 80's generation like Tùng Dương wants to create viral trends by changing a lot to adapt their thoughts and minds to the majority.

Listeners hear "Tái Sinh" but don't lose Tùng Dương's style, still see me having character, a soaring, velvety, enticing voice... because I still want to challenge myself in music," Tùng Dương said.

Tùng Dương said that he is a constantly moving artist. He wants to renew himself to fit with younger singers (Photo: Organizers).

The singer of "Ôi quê tôi" shared that artists should not monopolize their works but have songs touching on the emotions of the masses that will create a strong effect, therefore songs like "Một vòng Việt Nam, Chiếc khăn Piêu, Mẹ tôi"... that he has performed have been loved by audiences of many ages and professions.

"From social networks, songs can become trends anytime. Tùng Dương will always move to not become old, so even at the age of 70-80, I will still stand on stage singing passionately with young artists like NSND Quang Thọ…," the male singer revealed.

Tùng Dương believes that the song "Tái Sinh" will have long-lasting vitality because the melody, theme, and meaningful lyrics are not temporary, not market-oriented.

"The lyrics can be heard by the old and the young. I always tell Tăng Duy Tân, music has no limits, it must have the broad, open, bold spirit of youth. If the elderly don't like it, I will make them love it. Fortunately, Tăng Duy Tân is someone who listens very well and doesn't criticize Tùng Dương for being "old".

When there is harmony, Tùng Dương and Duy Tân will bring a new breeze to the song, with the freshness but still the deep, profound experience of time," Tùng Dương added.

When asked by a Dân trí reporter, in recent days, Tùng Dương has been called "the ox demon king" by many fans who believe that the song "Tái Sinh" tells the love story of an older man with a young girl, how does he feel about it?

The male singer laughed and said, "Even if the audience calls me any nickname, I still eagerly accept it. Because the "ox demon king" still has its beauty, the "ox demon king" must be a person with depth, age. If you are the "ox demon king" in music, you must also have an open, limitless soul so that fans of any age love you."

Tùng Dương also honestly added that if he is the spirit of the "ox demon king" in music, he also doesn't snatch anyone's lover.

"In art, I am an experienced person, I want to bring living philosophy into emotions when singing. In the past, I only sang for myself, now I sing for everyone to hear.

This is something I thought about in my life: I sing for everyone to like and empathize with, rather than just enjoying it alone...," the male singer expressed his thoughts on music.
