The Mae Sot Police Department in Thailand recently released a photo of the actor. In the photo, Wang Ting is bald and wearing a white tracksuit. His face looks tired and there are many bruises on his arms and legs.

Thai media reported that Wang Ting arrived at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport in Thailand at 2 a.m. on January 3 and was picked up by a Myanmar man.
Around 10 a.m. the same day, a car appeared at the border checkpoint in Mae Sot district, Tak province, Thailand. They lost contact about an hour later.
Prior to this, on January 5, Wang Ting's girlfriend announced that she could not contact the actor since January 3. She said that her boyfriend applied for a film role in Thailand but they were unable to reach each other as soon as the actor arrived at the Thai border.
The reason why Wang Ting went to work in Thailand but ended up in Myanmar has not been officially disclosed. Many sources say that the Chinese actor may be a victim of a human trafficking ring.
Wang Ting told Thai police that he was promised a chance to act in a film but upon arrival, he was taken away by strangers. He was bald and locked in a building with 50 other Chinese people.
It is known that as soon as Wang Ting was reported missing, his girlfriend proactively reported the incident to Chinese police and the Chinese Embassy in Thailand.

According to Sohu sources, actor Wang Ting is quite alert and healthy. He is not yet allowed to be cared for or to leave. If confirmed to be a victim of a human trafficking organization, Wang Ting will go through the bail process, quickly arrange to return to China.
If Wang Ting's case is voluntary participation, Thai police will consider whether he has violated Immigration Law or not. In the case of illegal entry, Wang Ting could face imprisonment or a fine.
On January 8, Wang Ting's younger brother revealed that the family was very happy to be in contact with the actor. The date Wang Ting returns to China has not been announced.
