At the 2024 Green Star Awards, the movie "Mai" directed by Trấn Thành "swept" the awards.
The film won the Best Film award in the Cinema category (voted by the Artistic Council). The lead actors Phương Anh Đào and Tuấn Trần were announced as the most outstanding Male and Female lead actors.
The lead actors of the movie "Mai" also won the Favorite Couple award, as well as the Most Favorite Male and Female actors awards voted by the audience.

Accepting the award, Trấn Thành expressed his joy and honor as the Green Star Awards is one of the prestigious annual awards. Before announcing the Best Film award, many people speculated that "Trấn Thành would definitely win", however, he emphasized that he was still nervous as he had "failed to win the award twice at the Green Star Awards before".
Trấn Thành stated that when making the film "Mai", he wanted to convey the voices of vulnerable women in society, helping them receive sympathy and care from everyone.
"I thank my ex-girlfriends for teaching me many lessons, helping me grow and learn to love more. I want to thank Hari Won the most - the woman who is currently by my side. Thank you for loving me every day, helping me feel that I should do something to repay this luck. Thank you to the beloved audience", Trấn Thành shared.
In the category of the most outstanding Supporting Actress in Cinema, Hồng Đào surpassed many competitors to win the award. However, the actress was absent. Trấn Thành accepted the award on her behalf.
Trấn Thành revealed that on the day of filming "Mai", the actress he most wanted to win the award was Hồng Đào. "My favorite role, the one that made a significant contribution to the film, is played by Hồng Đào", Trấn Thành affirmed.
